I just got the locksmith unlocked the car now. Did tried to start the car with different battery, kicks start and went off like its been sitting there for a while. The (VSC OFF!) Light is on and the brake warning light came on too. So, now the battery is ruled out as that could not possibly to be the issue or the reason why the car won't crank up. So, could this be an issue of the starter ?

In my experience, when my alternator failed, it went out in a matter of minutes. I was driving on the freeway, noticed the car acting weird, lights dimming and within a few miles, it was dead. I was fortunate i was able to pull into the parking lot of a service shop.

just checked the starter and its working, so the starter, battery and alternator is ruled out. What else could be the reason why my car wont start for me?

OK. i finally took my car to the lexus dealership to diagnose the car. so, i was told that i have failure to fuel pressure sensor and will need new battery. So the cost of fixing the fuel pressure sensor and labor is $ 1675 and the battery is $210. Any ideas of what to do since the bill is outrageous for me at the moment. Any suggestion?

not sure if this helps but its worth a shot. Look for the part online and install yourself if you're a handy man. Ill be taking mine to Lexus tomorrow just to have it diagnosed and fix it myself, if too complicated ill hire a family member who owns a shop.

So could they be telling me the fuel pressure sensor is bad and needs to be replace while its something else that needs to be fixed? From my understanding they said replacing that would start my car up.

I called the Lexus parts department and request to purchase the fuel presure sensor but they requested for the Vin number before they could give me a price for the parts which is $389.29. So, i called a Lexus specialized service shop and they were asking for $850 for the installation. So, my concern is should i buy the parts from the dealership or buy it from Autozone which is $410

@ Ibidu 1, yes i just got the diagnostic copy sent to me and it says the fuel pressure sensor with the fuel rail will need to be replace to start the engine. So, does it means the charges for the cost of fixing it is worth the price or i should buy the parts and take the car to toy/lex specialist ? The dealership parts is $865, the labour is $705 plus $75 tax
