2011 GS 350 trunk Light

does anyone know if the trunk light switches on and off when opening and closing the trunk lid or do you have to turn it on manually ?.

Should switch off when you close the trunk. If you want to confirm for yourself, pop open the center pass-through in the rear seat and peek inside with the trunk closed.
