Received my cable and CD. Instructions are a little vague and I was unable to successfully activate the program with the key provided. Awaiting response from seller for an activation key.

Have you replace one of the exe files? There should be a folder with the new program file that needs go over the original TIS file.

Tried to download the driver but I'm receiving notification that a virus was detected. Not sure whether to take the chance.

Use virtual box and don't install it on a computer with sensitive data.

It's a diagnostic tool to help pin point the issue or customize certain settings. It pretty much a more advance OBDII code scanner but for Toyota\Lexus\Scion. You can clear the DTCs and see if you issues will come back.

The greatest parts about Techstream is the code it reads from the stored memory even though it doesn't throw a light on the dash. It also depend on the cable. The cheaper cable may not program a TPMS sensor, program a key, or factory reset the transmission behavior but it should read from all the computers.

Definitely a worthy investment if you like doing work yourself and have a stable of Toyota cars.

I've decided to sell my Lexus and pick up something way different. If there's an off topic section i'll post it there. :P

Yeah, I'll see if I got that in another recording I did and I'll post a new video. I went through all the customization options presented by the TechStream.

New video showing all the customizations available for a GS350. Unfortunately, Unit Conversion was empty.

Also have a demo of the health check function of techstream at the end
