Lexus GS vs. IS Rear Seating
Hello,
Has anyone gone from an IS F to a GS F OR from an older generation IS to current general GS?
2008 - 2014 Lexus IS F
Front Legroom = 43.9
Rear Legroom = 30.6
Total Front and Rear = 74.5
2016 - Present Lexus GS F
Front Legroom = 40.6
Rear Legroom = 32.8
Total Front and Rear = 73.4
At an initial glance, the GS has more rear legroom. However, the IS has more legroom combined. Technically, if I were able to push the IS F seats up such that I have 40.6 inch of legroom, the rear seats would have 33.9 inches of legroom, more than the GS. Those who have actually had enough seat time in both vehicles (if any), are you finding that the GS actually has less legroom than the IS?
