Default Hybrid batteries removal, check, problem fix. DIY!!

Hey!! South Korean here!
Today I’ll proudly show you my DIY.
Before everything, you gotta disconnect the Minus connector of your 12V battery.
That thing is extremely heavy.
I hate getting old.

After the hybrid battery package was removed.
What an ancient technology..

Tried to sandpaper these.
But It seems hard. So I chose the easy way.
Power sander. Also, my own creation.

Works like charm.
Don’t forget to check every single batteries.
If numbers go below 7, you gotta replace that pack.

God damn these tiny things..

Oh, when you remove/install your batteries.
To loose front part of nuts, do this and lean the seats foward.

This is today’s result.
What do you think?
This was before fix.

You mean sandpaper’s grid? If it is, I used #220.
Just because it was the only one I had.

Thanks.
I did it because it’s fuel economy was so terrible and power rotation of energy monitor seems the batteries doesn’t work at all.

The Lexus service shop guys only do replacement of whole batteries.

The hybrid design of the battery system I feel is a terrible idea, if only they split them into small interchangable units. Its a burden to keep having to remove individual cells when you get a failed cell
