Lexus 3GS Wheel Hub DIY?
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there was a DIY out there before i tackle it on my own in a few weeks time.
My front left wheel bearing is going out and think maybe it might fix my vibration problems too.
Was wondering what i'll need besides the special jerk off tool and the Axle Nut probably a 30mm-32mm socket.

The wheel bearing is the bolt on style which makes it a lot easier not having to deal with a press.
Assuming you have AWD, to get the axle free, you'll likely have to disconnect the lower ball joint from the control arm (or the tie rod), which means you'll need a ball joint separator.
And of course you'll need a good socket set, ratchet and breaker bar to remove the axle nut, caliper bracket bolts, hub bolts, etc.

Yea, i took apart the wheel and I'm probably going to do a write up when i get it done and my car is AWD. I still haven't post a DIY for the Blower motor yet but i have done it.
Right now what i have a problem is the Axle Nut being a notched axle nut instead of pinned. then i have the suspension arm (im not too sure but its the black one) that is in my way of getting my socket and breaker bar to loosen the bolts.
might think about using some sort of cheater bar on a wrench i have.
