Default 2011 GS450h & Wheel Bluetooth Dialing Drops Call

I have an iPhone 6 plus and iPhone 6s+. Both are running iOS 11.2.6 (the latest released version) connected just fine with Bluetooth to the car. Call audio go through the car BT system just fine as does music via BlueTooth.

I have a pesky problem though. As I initiate Siri via the steering wheel control, Siri responds from whichever phone is the active device on the car's Bluetooth, with the proper "now dialing". It attempts to dial, then immediately drops the call before I hear the outgoing call. The call shows on the phone's recent calls list. I have to pick up the phone, pull up the phone app and go to the recent calls list to successfully place the call. OR oddly, I can pick up the phone, press and hold the phone's home button to get to Siri, speak to Siri through the BT system and successfully voice dial a call. Either way, a bit defeating trying to be handsfree.

I'm a CIO and have deleted connections on both phones and the car. I've rebooted the phones, cycled phone BT off then on. The above scenario happens no matter what. Is this an issue for others or perhaps is this an issue with the vehicle itself? TIA for suggestions and feedback.

Our generation GS is not a Siri Eyes Free equipped vehicle. It'll do Siri but the system does not know how to switch calls made from Siri. It'll see the Siri as a call and hangs up as soon as it dials out.

The BT system in our GS is too simple and lack the advanced features that the newer generation has.

Thanks MX73 for that quick response! I guess that's par for the course for the little amount that Lexus Enform can do versus newer cars getting diagnostics remotely and remote start via the app. Even from the TPMS aspect, a bit lacking when it really only alerts low tire pressure versus seeing pressure amount in each of the tires. (My former 2008 Saturn showed that.) Despite the lacking implemented technology, I love my 2011 GS450h.

I'm pretty sure Lexus could have programmed the display to show individual tire pressure. The pressure is displayed in the Techstream diagnostic software.

It may have been timing though. I think during the 3rd generation GS development, the DOT mandated that all cars sold after 2007 is required to have some sort of TPMS monitoring.
