Default TPMS Issues

So I did search, but I'm having trouble figuring out my TPMS issue.

I have a set of snows and summers, and recently took my snow tires off an put on the summers. When i did this, I pressed the button under the glovebox and the low tire light came on instantly. I chalked this up to the fact that I had a nail in my summer tire from the season before, and brought it to get patched the next day.

I get the tire patched, all the tires filled to the proper pressure, but the TPMS light is still on, not flashing but solid. I try reseting the system by setting all the pressures to 28, pressing the rest button under the steering wheel, all while the low tire light is on, and of course no change.

Does anyone know what the problem could be. I've had both sets, the summer and winter, programmed to the car, and had no problems till i pressed the button under the glovebox. Am i missing something simple here? I would have though maybe a sensor battery is dead, but because the light is solid I really doubt it. Any insight would be great, thanks.

Even if you think it's not a dead battery, It probably is a dead battery. What happens when you put the winter set back on?

If thats the case, that sucks because I just had replaced and had them programmed last year.

See if the tire shop can scan each wheel. Some members here drove around 100 miles to get the system to recognize the "new" sensor. It didn't work for me but it may work for you.
