Can't get my 2006 Lexus GS 300 to program to my garage door

I can not get my 2006 Lexus GS 300 to program to my garage door opener. I have a liftmaster and it won't program to my Lexus GS 300

If it is a security+ 2.0 opener with a yellow learn button, its too new for your car and it won't work.

What kind of liftmaster? The Homelink with Security 2.0 will require a converter to downgrade the signal to the older homelink system founded in many cars.
