I love my 2008 GS 450h... but I have never been a fan of the tail lights which look a little bit too "Chevy Malibu" for my liking...
Has anyone bought and installed the aftermarket tail lights from VIP MOTO? Specifically the "Red Ones"?
How is the fit? How do they look? Any photos on the car with the lights off in the daylight?
The "Black" ones like in the youtube clip above are easy to find on ebay... they go for about $350 for a set
You can also find "smoke" ones on the 'bay too... similar price... look like those with a smoked "black out" lense
The Rosso Burgundy ones are called "Smoke Red" can also be found on the bay... Like the backout ones with a red tint... Kinda like a 1980's trans-am
Of course the ones that look most stock... The "Clear Red" are sold out everywhere...
If there is a vendor reading this... make those! I will buy a set...
Is this what the OP is looking for? I can't find any other taillights but these. I would love to get my hands on the clear red but they are hard to come by.

Sorry for the confusion! I would like the most stock looking ones. I was just looking at that video to get an idea of the 360. I'll have to go through that user's IG feed to see some more pictures.
you can buy the 78 works tail lights + headlights at rhdjapan.com, i have dm'd 78 works to see how we can purchase their stuff in the USA and they linked me to that page. hope that helps!
Did anyone manage to upgrade to these tail lights? More specifically, did anyone link up with the site in Japan for the more stock-looking lens? I’d like to know how much of the light bar is dedicated to the brake light? There seems to be no available video online of these things in action. Just one highly stylized fluff video on YouTube.
Seen 2 in the last few months on the road, they’re really nice but the LED’s are not bright at all, not even close to the brightness of the OEM LED’s when the brakes are on and at night.
