Default What's the best mileage you've gotten from your regularly rotated tires?

I know this car eats tires, with our toe in and camber. My factory Dunlop summer tires went to 30k before they were worn out. I dragged it out to 34000 mi before I bought new tires.

My 18" Continental DWS I have now...only have 14200 miles, and have worn down from 11/32 to 5/32.
At this rate, it will only reach 21000 miles before they're worn out.
I expected better mileage from the DWS compared to the Dunlops, but it looks like it will last the same or less.

What's the size, brand and best mileage you've gotten on your tires?

2006 GS430, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (the model before the A/S 3s). 65k miles, mostly highway miles. Greatest tires ever made. Got the A/S 3s and really disliked them. Now have DWS06 at about 20k miles and look to be about 50% done.

If your cars eating tires then you must have some bad bushings or bad alignment. I never liked my DWS and switched to michelins and got a lot more miles out of them.

I have michelin mxm4 on my ES, and don't like them because the rubber cracks. I had micro cracking along the tire walls shortly after buying them new because they weren't driven much.
You're supposed to drive them so the ozone protection gets squeezed to the surface.
In contrast, the DWS doesn't get driven much, and has no cracking at all. Not sure if other michelins suffer from the same problem.

thanks for the perspective. Mine are mostly local miles, so lots of turns and braking wearing down the tread.

the "S" in the DWS tread indicator wears out at 5/32"
