Hi All - I am going to look at a 2009 AWD tomorrow. Black, 48K miles. Asking $14,800 OBO.
Not too hot on the AWD, as we don't have too many rainy days in Silicon Valley.
Car is heavily optioned.
I was thinking about a 2016 or newer, but this is less than half the price...
We just bought a 2108 RX450h.
I appreciate any advice if you have any experience with these cars.
Thank you.

It is a very, very good used car choice. I think it is tops in reliability for a sedan. At 48k you can look at the service records if you have the vin on the lexus owners site. There may have been some recalls that should have been done.
AWD in the Bay Area is overkill but I think it adds some stability around curves.
The 09 may not have BT music or USB, not sure. If it has a cassette it likely don't.

I bought an 09 GS350 AWD in January with 41k miles for 16,500 and have been very happy with it. As others have said no USB or Bluetooth but there is an Aux input, and I have connected a BT receiver to it and have a Qi wireless charging doc for my phone so no visible wires the BT Adapter was $25 on Amazon. Works great and I can still use the card built in Handsfree BT for phone calls.
