Squeeling brakes- not brake pads? + More issues. Please help!
So I just recently bought a used 06 gs430 and there were a couple issues with it. First, the handbrake doesn't work and there are 2 ground wires poking thru which I have no clue where they lead to. Next, Everytime I would brake, there is this loud annoying squeeling sound that comes out from the front end. I've already checked both front and rear pads and they're all at 85-90% wear, so there's no way that's the issue.
My next problem is that I have a few lights on my dashboard. The warning light is on and CHECK VSC, CHECK VGRS, TRACTION CONTROL, AFS LIGHT BLINKING, BRAKE PAD LIGHT IS ON(might just need to be reset since pads are almost new).
Now I know that I probably shouldn't have bought this car but I'm pretty much stuck with it until I find something to replace it.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Do you know if the brake pads ceramic or semi-metallic?
Check the rear parking brake shoe to see if it needs replacing or adjusting. You would need to take the rear rotors off to visual inspect the shoes.
Pull the codes so we can see what you're facing.

This is what I did to my 3GS that cured my really bad brake noise. What I used was a wire wheel on an angle grinder. I took off the pads, with the wire wheel sanded the glazing off the pads. I also quickly sanded the disc's with the wire wheel. I used grease and lubed the back of the pads, the sides. Then I cleaned and greased the inside of the calipers and the same with the silencers and the pins. I did the same with the rear and also greased the sliding pins. All in all maybe an hours worth of work, and it was super easy. Its been about 5 months now with no noises!
