Newbie needs help with tires
I came across a sweet deal on the niche m131 20x8.5 with a +35 off set. The tires on the wheels now are 255/40/20 and rubs on hard turns and moderate bumps.
The car is not and will not be lowered
Will the tires rub if i use a 245/35/20? Your help is greatly appreciated.
I am thinking about going with Toyo Proxes 4.
Thank you in advance.

Ive ran 245/35/20 and I used to rub, but then I did fender liner trimming. 255/40 is huge for the front!
Also if you find a tire design thats not square at the edges. For instance I once ran falken tires and zero scraping, then switched to a conti DWS and I had lots of fender rubbing and they both were the same size 245/35/20

I have Continental Pure Contact's and love the ride quality, look, tread life, etc....but they are stock sized tires for the factory 18' rims (245/40/18's) Never have been a fan of oversized wheels, tires, offsets, staggers, etc. Just makes it more costly, less comfortable and creates more headaches. Yes.....I'm an "older" fart.
