Default ABS Pump operation info (ABS Actuator)

So i recently went through the nightmare that every 460 owner must be scared of !!!
ABS actuator gave up and i got it replaced with a used part.
But i have forgotten what it was like to have a properly functioning ABS actuator and i am constantly anxious when i hear/feel the actuator being re-pressurized.
I just want to know if any experts out here knows about how often your ABS pump should work to refill the pressure?
Does it have to work even in traffic where you constantly press and release the brakes driving at low speeds?

PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK MY PEACEFUL SLEEP!!

Sorry to hear about that. Can you share how much you paid for the used ABS actuator? Is it the exact same part as the one inside the LS460? My GS460 is currently at 110k and I'm afraid I will be going through this in the not so distant future.

Thanks.

Well it costed me about 850 USD to do that. But i am not really sure how long it is going to survive.

In my case when I knew the actuator was going out it would repressurise every single time I even touched the brakes. After replacing it it represurises often while driving but nowhere near as often as it did when it was defective.

From what one mechanic "lexus specialist" told me is that when the abs goes out its best to replace the pump and the module at the same time. But you can replace just the pump before it self destructs itself.

I wonder why aftermarket or some rebuild is able to repair or even tear one up to see what the actual damage is.

Default Abs modulator

So today my 06 GS 430 abs modulator went out,I had to pick up a used one I found an amazing deal part # 44050 30670 from a 2013 GS 450 hybrid with 24k,my mechanic said "how the hell you find that"
that's the new part # that replaces the old one 44050 30260..the dealer quoted me at $1800 plus taxes plus $700 labor,I paid $575 for used one and $500 labour at well recognized jap shop to install.
What's your take guys about the way I am going.
Take into consideration that the part only has 24k which is almost new I can safely say.
Advice please on my decision.

That's a great deal. Where did you find the used Actuator? Ebay? My GS460 is currently at 114k miles and I'm afraid I will have to replace in the not so distant future.

ABS MODULATOR..go to PARTS MARKET. COM..they might have yours, its like Ebay where you buy from them and they have vendors listing on their site.
I couldn't believe I picked up that deal, its the modulator and abs pump, but they can't verify if it's the complete assembly or just the modulator.
Delivery is on Thursday, will update you on condition and other info.
