Hello all,
So I just got the new Galaxy Note 9, the phone pairs and connects with the car successfully, but it says "Out of Range" in the signal area. I tried the Note 9 with my Dad's car it worked flawlessly, so no hardware issues with the note 9 I guess. My old Galaxy Note 4 works with no problem whatsoever in the Lexus.
Any Idea what could be wrong?? Could it be the Bluetooth module in the new phone incompatible with the car?

I was reading an article on my phone saying that Samsung has a list of blacklisted devices. I was surprised that it block pairing to BMW, MB, Smart, and some other vehicles. Probably because of compatibility issues. I'll have to find the article.
