Default Fog light restoration

Ok I recently took my fog lights out and cleaned them up. Here's a quick run through. I used 3m headlight restoration kit. Comes with
1 sandpaper drill attachment
500 grit, 800 grit, and 3000 grit sandpaper pads
2 packets of 3m hardening wipes (clearcoat)
I also purchased 1500 grit wet/dry paper separately to get as clear as possible
before

500grit

800 grit
1500grit

3000grit

Clearcoat

So clean
I also finished them off with 3m clear vinyl to keep it nice

I don't think it's possible to get them out without removing the bumper so I removed the bumper, then on the back side there is 1 screw to remove and 1 plastic tab to push. I was running out of time so I didn't get all the pics for taking off the bumper, but its not terribly difficult. Here's what I did get
remove the screw

Push this tab to release the notch

With slight pressure pull the lamp toward the center while pushing the tab and it should pop right out

Can you not remove them by pulling back the fender liner? I want to do this to mine, but my front bumper has only a couple good tabs left, the rest are all broken, don't wanna risk removing it at this point until I get a new one.

yes, it's possible to remove the fog lights by pulling back the fender liner. there's just a 10mm screw you have to loosen and 2 or 3 tabs to pull up if i recall.
