2006 GS 300 running sluggish and stops when I put in reverse on an incline
Ok. I took it to 3 independent Toyota/Lexus mechanics and nobody seems to get this problem diagnosed correctly. This has been an ongoing issue for 4 months. The car runs well for the first 10 mins and then I start noticing that I start losing power when accelerating especially when I'm going 5-10 mph in traffic. I did look at some threads and one of them matched my problems. I put in additive fuel, but it didn't fix it.
I had the transmission looked at and it checked out ok. I changed the transmission fluid same thing. I checked the solenoid and it checks out fine. I also did a throttle body service. Every time I run the car in an incline the car runs really sluggish. If I stop it in an incline and put it in reverse the car completely shuts off. Also, the car runs sluggish when I turn on the AC.
I need help from anyone that knows what the root of the problem may be....
Is it a computer problem w/transmission? Help please...
Thanks.....

If 3 independent shops cannot do it, you should opt to send it to your local dealer and pay the $100 diagnostics fee to get a for sure answer. Usually they're pretty good at diagnosing the problem, where my dealer would always personally see through it until they completely figure out the problem. I'm not sure if that is the case for CA dealers (maybe it's $100/hr diagnostics fee?)
