How the heck did they wire up the trunk lid and provide power? I don't see any wires going from the trunk lid to the car. I'm trying to keep a clean look and route an aftermarket backup camera wires through the same harness area but can't see any wires. I'm confused. See photo below, those are the only things connecting the trunk lid to the car. There has to be wires somewhere cause the trunk lid has couple of lights.
That strap doesn't auto-lock the trunk, its a ribbon cable that provides power.
Why do you need to add a backup camera? I thought all 3GS came with one standard.

Backup cam is only standard on nav vehicle. Non-nav does not have a backup cam.
