Hi guys,
The wife has a '08 GS 350. The local shop says it needs New Rotors & Pads Front & Rear...I could really use some recommendations for good quality parts.
Currently she has standard Rotors, not slotted or drilled, And front & rear tires are the same size. Does it really matter if I replace it with slotted or drilled rotors? From the research I've done It seems like the cross slotted or drilled rotors are more for racing or for an upgraded cosmetic look. None of that is necessary for me, I just want to ensure I buy good quality replacement parts from a trustworthy website. Also What are the best PADS!!?? I've had enough of that annoying screeching sound every time I brake. What are the best pads to go with to avoid that wretched sound? Any & all advice, tips, recommendations are greatly appreciated THANKS!

I currently have Centric Rotors and Akebono pads on front. To me, this is the best combo but everyone will have a different answer to what is the best pads out there.
Pad screeching can be from improperly installed pads, not using shims or anti-squeal compound, or just pad slapping them on the existing rotors.
I order everything from RockAuto.
