Default Car vibrates after snow storm

I drove through a 20cm snow storm last night going around 40-60kmh. This morning I went to work, the roads were cleared and car drove smoothly. I got to work and tried to reverse into a spot but the spot was covered in shin high snow, it took me a couple of tries going in and out and the tires were spinning when I tried to reverse it and forward out, it’s a 450h so it’s rwd. Then today when I left work, going about 60kmh and up the car started to vibrate like crazy, steering wheel and my car seat and my shift **** were vibrating.

i though it was snow building when I did the snow burnout, I cleaned the wheel wells and didn’t see any ice and not much snow, drove it on the highway again and symptoms the same. Oh and no lights on the dash either. I also checked the tire pressure and it’s good. Any ideas?

I dont have experience in snow, but I used to own trucks that we would off road. If we drove into some hard packed mud, what would sometimes happen is the mud would sit inside the wheel. When we would go back to driving on the roads the trucks would shake badly. The shaking wouldnt stop until we pressure washed the inside of the wheels. Try grabbing a water hose and hose down the backside of each wheel and make sure its is all clear, and also check to see if all your wheel weights are still intact. It is possible that the cold snow removed your wheel weights

You are correct. I once had bad shake, and when I stopped and checked my wheels, some snow was on one side of the wheel, not a whole lot, but I cleaned it off, and the shake went away. It doesnt take very much to throw off the balance of the wheel at high speeds.

Yep, clean the snow out of your wheels.

I've had snow thaw and refreeze as ice all over my wheels. I mean, this happens all the time, and it's usually very small chunks, but one time my front left wheel had a huge ice formation on it. Usual symptoms on the highway

It was not as cold today so I took it to a touch less car wash and test drove it on the highway again and the vibration is gone! Thanks guys, it scared me lol.
