Hey guys!

I noticed that my engine was making some weird sounds and know that the water pump is a common issue...
At first the sound was a lot quicker and matched the engines speed but now its kind of slowed down and it tries to get faster when the engine is revved..
Any suggestions?

Sounds like it, or a bad serpentine idler or tensioner with your hands grab the water pump pulley and move it hard up and down. You may need to remove the belt off to see, super easy to remove. If theres a lot of play then the bearings are shot in it. I would also grab a long screw driver or long extension, put one end on the water pump the other end on your ear and you should be able to clearly hear if its inside the water pump.
