Default Multiple failures of automatic and remote features

06 GS300
Every time the door is opened the alarm goes off until the engine is started.
Also all remote fob buttons (I have 3 fobs) do nothing and the steering wheel does not extend or retract automatically.
Cannot stop alarm with fob or lock or open car.
Otherwise the car runs fine but is a pain in the neck to deal with.
Could it be a loose connection or module failure?
HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?
2006 GS300AWD
This all happened at the same time!

Check to make sure the locking mechanisms aren't jamming. If it is, a partially unlock door can trigger the alarm when you open a door.
Have you replaced the battery in the key fob?
FYI, the steering wheel does not extend or retract automatically. It only tilts up when the car shuts off or when starting the car.

All 3 fobs have new batteries and I understand how and when the steering wheel moves.
I will check the locks and trunk latch but I don't think that is the issue.
Thank you for your input.

I'd connect a techstream and scan the remote entry ecu and the other ones it will tell you codes if something is wrong.

This happened randomly??

A techstream is 25-30$. Take a bit of effort to setup (not impossible with some searching) but beats a dealers wallet vac (sometimes they can't even do anything)

Well things have gone from bad to worse to give me a sledge hammer imma bash the hell outta this car 8o)

Computer went into immobilization mode so it won't start. No communication between circuitry between doors.

We tested every system for 2 hours with a very sophisticated analyzer and determined there was no communication to the passenger door that was hit in a fender bender 4 months ago. Also indicted a short in that door.
Opened it up to find no wire damaged so indications were to replace the MPX interface module.
I did it.
NO HELP WHAT SO EVER AND IT IS ALSO DRAINING BATTERY OVER NIGHT.
Dig deep buddies help me find this problem. Can't reset immobilization from door key as it is not communicating with the rest of the system.

(On the plus side the stereo works great! TEE HEE We all know how important that is and it is nice to have music in the garage)

Dealer told me MPX was just plug and play.....is that so or is more required for it to be recognized by the ECU?
