The trip mpg on these vehicles have been known to be a little off. LOL... You are lucky if you get 26 MPG highway and around 16-18 in city driving.

They're off on pretty much every car, but what counts is the number of miles you get to a tank, and I got 410 miles before I finally had to fill up. Granted, that was a 99% highway driving, but averaged 85+ MPH.

Yep, I'm aware of that. That's why I mentioned it for reference purposes. It should go up a mi. or two/gal once the temps get above 60 here in WI.

I have a 2008 gs460 with 237k and get 25mpg. It is the 8 speed transmission which is why.

WOW! I plan on having this car a long time, it is amazing!! I was told by a Lexus person "they don't make them like that anymore"! Such a pleasure to own and drive!

you must have an issue - my 460 has 128K on it and has consistently gotten 28-30 on the highway and at worst 21 mpg around town. average is 25-26. your numbers should be concerning.

68mph average. Looks like 95%+ highway miles, nice!

Most I've gotten was 28mpg highway, cruise control between 75-80mph from Los angeles to San francisco. (gs350)

No but my son goes to Marietta College and plays baseball for them so I drive all over Ohio and watch him play!

MPG's are highly speed variable. Slow down 5 or 10mph and see a world of difference. Oh and use Cruise Control.

I took a job 1hr away from my house and I gotta say (old man coming thru) it's soooooooooo much more relaxing to be in the slow lane going 5 over the limit vs being in the fast lane constantly speeding up and slowing down. It just seems like so much extra work for the car, brakes, tranny shifting, etc.. compared to just put-putting along at 70mph or ghast....60mph.

Time wise it's the same as stopping for a quick pee break. Conversely the faster you go, the sooner you gotta stop for gas. A double edged sword it is.

Sweet car by the way!
