Amp finally died
Over years of popping and not working on rainy days it finally died when I came back from vacation.. turns the bottom was rusted bad as well. I'm trying to find a 3gs pioneer amp but can not find the right one on eBay or anywhere!! Any help? The problem is there are plenty of amplifiers but I can barely find any for 10, 11 model cars!! Would it work if I just order the older ones?

If these are priced too high check nearby salvage yards. A great search is car-part.com
But its probably best to repair that water leak, before installing the new amp

How do I find the leak? Would my mechanic be able to find it? How much do they usually charge? Sorry for all the questions
Last question how much would you be willing to pay for a used amp?

Hop in the trunk close it, have someone spray water with a garden hose over the trunk area/ rear window seals/tail lights seals etc. Use a flash light and you should be able to see where it is leaking from. Was the car ever in an accident in the back?
When I searched for you online they were pricey, the cheapest one sold for $260.00, personally if it were my car, I would take apart the amplifier. Use an electronics cleaner with a q-tip clean off all the terminals inside. Try your luck you might be able to get it to come back on, it could just be corrosion on the terminals.
