Big lump in Trunk under rear parcel shelf
Hi everyone - new to forum and first time post. I just picked up a 2007 GS350 in another town and drove it 350 miles to my home city. Absolutely smitten with it. Wow, what a car! In the top of the trunk there is quite a large bulge protruding from the bottom of the rear parcel shelf. I'm sure that the many pictures I've seen of this model for sale I have only seen this once or twice. Can someone explain what is lurking in said bulge? My car does not have the Mark Levinson sound system or any other option that could explain this.

All GS have a subwoofer. It does not matter if you have the ML system or the base premium system.
