How Many Miles Are On Your 3rd Gen GS?
I'm one of those old school guys who likes to buy a car / truck and drive it forever - if I can anyway. I thought it might be interesting if we all shared how many miles we all have on our 3rd Generation GS? Please share your 3rd Gen (2006 - 2011) year, model, mileage, any major work you've had done if any, any modifications or features you really like and your oil consumption if any please? Also please feel free to share your favorite photo's of your GS as well! .
I just recently bought a used 2006 AWD Lexus GS 300 with 160,000 miles on it, The only special features on ours is the factory All Wheel Drive & sunroof. My wife and I live in Colorado and we love to ski, so All Wheel Drive is pretty important to us out here.Ours is burning a little bit of oil, but it is less than a quart every 3000 miles so as long as I keep up with the oil changes on time its not a big deal.

Lexus Test Driver
Here's my 2006 GS430, she has every option available. She is currently at 95,700 miles. I am the second owner and am responsible for all the mods on it! A sweet old lady had it first and serviced since new at Tustin Lexus here in Southern Cali. I have not had to change anything but the front brake pads and an oil change. I have to do the 100,000 mile timing belt change soon but the mechanic at Lexology here in Cali said I'll be okay for a few more thousand miles.

Short trip after a fuel up - 26.7 MPG in an 08 350 AWD
66,350 on our baby. We've had it one month now. We call it "Lucky" because we had a lot of good luck in finding it and buying it in such good condition at such a low price.

Nice! That is really low mileage! Do you have any pictures you want to share? Or mods you want to tell us about?

Pole Position
2011 Lexus GS350
2nd owner
Bought it with 55k June 2017
Currently have 96k
so far so good and plan on keeping it maybe until 150k, possibly more since I"m trying to get into a Tesla (insurance too high right now).

2006 Lexus GS 430 with 40,123 miles and owned in family since new. Only basic maintenance, which includes syn oil,new tires, brakes/new fluid and last year had the timing belt, fuel pump and coolant changed because of age...

Do we need to change the timing belt? Per the dealer our GS doesn't need to do timing belt. Correct me if wrong.
