Break noise
I replaced my front break lads at the dealership a couple of months back. Back then the suggested they i replace the shims kit and i told them no because i know i replaced them the year before. Now i get noise from the breaks when im driving in the city.
Can i assume that its the shims and just go ahead snd replace them (probably myself this time) or do i go back to the dealership under warranty? I just don’t want them to charge me for inspection..etc

Well, you did decline the shim kit. They won't do it for free.

I just had my frt/rr brakes done by my Lexus dealer. They replaced the pads and machined all 4 rotors. The shim kit was listed as follows on the invoice:
04945-30359 Shim Kit, Anti Squeal No Charge.
As MX73 stated above, they recommended that you replace the shim kit and you declined. You are now responsible for the consequences of that decision. Your old shims are not under warranty by the dealer.
