Looking to buy a 06 GS300
I'm coming from a 06 IS250 with 250K miles. I bought it new from the dealer.
Found a 2006 GS 300 with under 80K miles, but it has a rebuilt title. I'm going to run a carfax on it, but should there be anything I should watch out for?
my IS has been pretty solid and haven't had any major issues with it. I'm on the fence because I'm looking at a 2013+ BMW 5 series.
Any insight would be helpful.

I would avoid the 06's they have carbon buildup issues like your is250. But being a rebuilt title, if the price was super cheap go for it, people have hit over 200k miles with them, but the more desirable GS is 08-up slight changes to the front end and more electronics.
But you cant compare a newer 2013 bmw 5 series to a 06 lexus gs. Over course the bmw will be a lot nicer, but they do come with a lot more headache repairs. Why dont you go for a 2013 lexus GS? That way you keep the reliability and luxury

Why would you go near a Rebuilt/Salvage Title?
Anyhoo, I’d go with the 2007 GS 350. Or better yet get the 2008 if your budget can swing it. Those model years have the 3.5 liter engines and the 08 has minor interior/exterior refinements. But if you ultimately decide on the 2006 it’s still a solid car.
