Lately, I just noticed my 08 GS350's side mirror keep changing the position each time starting my car.
We have seat and mirror memory right? Seat is not changed. but the mirror not stay at pre-set position.
Anybody has the same issue? any idea how to fix it?

This will happen to my Lexus when the left and right switch isn’t left in the middle position.

Mine is not on the center. Since I need the mirror down when I parking my car.

These 3GS have plastic gears inside the mirrors, if you keep using the reverse mirror tilting eventually you will destroy those plastic gears. It sounds like to me your mirror gears are going bad. You can either replace the mirrors or you can do what I did and disable the auto tilt.

On your left side drop menu, you will see a long button to where you can change adjustability to either left or right mirror, you will know which side the power is on by the led. If you press in the center of the button, both sides of the led will shut off and your auto tilt will stop.

When you change your mirror position, you have to hit the Left or right button a second time to turn off the green light which then puts it back to the middle setting. If you drive with the L or R button still showing the green light activated,it is not locked and it will move all over the place.

It’s set on the last persons settings what you do is set your seat and you mirrors and steering wheel press set and number 1 with the car running then shut the car off and hold the unlock button and the number one at the same time you’ll hear a beep and bam there you go it’s now set to you so when you use that fob it will use your settings and mirrors will stay you can still use the mirror adjust with reveres
