Default How to check transmission fluid?

I bought my car 3 months ago with 80,000 miles and I have no idea if the previous owner flushed the ATF or not. Is there a way I can check a sample of the ATF so I can tell how clear or dirty it is and from there determine if I should do a transmission flush or not. My car is a 2011 GS350 RWD thank you

Theres no way to tell as its a sealed unit. You can do a drain and fill, where you open the drain plug and 4-5qt will drain. You pour then new WS fluid from a side port. Many will do this once or twice after they put several mileage in between. Then finally do whats called a pan drop, where they remove the transmission pan, change the filter and clean the internal magnets.
