I recently had my alternator go out and the dealership wanted 1300 to fix it so I decided I would do it myself. I disconnected the battery before I started and put the new alternator in. I connected the battery and the car wont start. When I go to start the car the push to start button turns green when I press on the brake but it just doesn't start. Also I cant lock the car or pop the trunk with the key fob. I have looked around on and I see that some people are saying to check the fuses but I know for sure that I disconnected the battery before starting so I have no idea how it could have a blown fuse, please someone help me out.

sounds like something to do with the security interlock.

Check your battery connections and make sure that they are on securely.
