Default Fiber Optic Amp

I ordered the px6 with the fiber optic amp option, and I have the Mark Levinson sound. There is no input on the back of the px6 that matches the fiber optic cable out to the factory amp.

There is sound out of the radio but once the volume is turned up past halfway it is severely distorted.

Did your unit have a place to plug in the fiber optic out to the amp?

Is there a way to make it so that the android device automatically connects to your phone’s internet? It would be a drag to turn on my hotspot every time I sit in my car.

I use Tasker to automatically turn on my phone's hotspot when it connects to the head unit via Bluetooth. Problem is it takes a while before the head unit's Bluetooth is up and working so if I want internet immediately I end up turning on the hotspot manually anyway.

I tried to find another event to bind it to but nothing else worked.

ugh sounds pretty bad not gonna lie

bluetooth and hotspot? battery will be gone in a jiffy

but I’m still tempted cause it must be cool to show it off to people who sit in your car

what features do go you mainly use? besides the look, what functionality do you primarily find yourself using. Trying to gauge if it’s worth the upgrade.

The battery drain on modern devices is negligible for Bluetooth (at least when unconnected).

Are you upgrading from the standard head unit?
