so i called PHOENIX ANDROID they says they have a unit for the 2010-2011 with a fibre optic DSP AMP 12 channel 50 watts RMS OUTPUT
so i bought it,this one below ,not as fancy as the one above but better than my factory one
the one below was pricey ,but this was the only company which has a unit for 2006-2011 so i bit the bullet
and now im a happy camper

so i read on the blogs that members were having problems with the backup camera ,air bag light ,hazzard button not working
so i asked phoinex does these units have these problems, they said you would be the first with the 2010 unit and if you have any issues we will resolve it.
so i said lets take another chance on one of these units.
i plugged it in and it worked , but it had the airbag light on hazard button didn't work.
i called them and they said send me your old unit and we will probe the connections

so what they did was test all the components because the harness they sent was for chinese market
a week later they sent me a new harness all my problems solved
The best thing is the DSP amp..ill be doing a video on the amp

heres a link what it like ,exact same unit but phoenix android called it carda

this is the old amp

this is the new plug and play

you can use your laptop to tune each speaker or use the tesla screen

HERES THE THE TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE

then updated tweeters from this

to this

cables to run to the radio
now for the display
THIS IS THE UNIT

any question let me no,
this unit works beautifully

heres the order on phoenix androids site

backup camera diagram for the 2006

At the back of your tesla sceen there should be a brown wire that says back connect that to pin 13 on the k46 plug

then remove glove box and find the k64 plug .and follow diagram

2007-2009 backup camera wiring

2010-2011

these to plug are behind the deck watch the video

The Security light fix =problem doesn't activate when you lock the doors

first remove lower plug from the Tesla unit

then locate the purple wire in tplug (theres 2) the one with the arrow pointed to it

then attach a wire to it and connect into **** 6 in the k99 plug green wire

now your done

This is the air conditiong fix

this how you add the brackets just drill to holes ,by using the template provided with the unit

This is the AIRBASG fix ,ask phoenix android for the 3 wire chip

you will get this

back in 2014 this was my first set up

Looks great! Where did u find this set up? And did u have to replace the factory amp? I have an 06 gs with ML and am currently awaiting my replacement 6.5's for the doors. I'd love to do this as well.

I got it from Phoenix Android
i did not have to replace the factory amp ,but on the web site it had an option for a DSP AMP,so i bought it with the screen
let me tell you the low bass makes you think you have a box in the trunk
What the amp has is a built in dsp sound processor so you can tune every speaker individually its incredible ,
when your tunning it comes on the screen ,you can use the presets or use youer own and save it and give it a file name
mind you all you do is go to your trunk yank out your factory amy and plug this in with the same cnnectors

you can also screen mirror easily and use the the tesla screen touchscreen

ive tried android auto and apple carplay and there a little laggy
the one in the unit mirrors your phone exactly

my next video will be me showing you how the functions work

A lot of the Tesla unit's were thrown on the market without testing for the us market, so I sent my unit so they could get it right.they worked with me to get a good product out to the us market. Off course not everything is perfect with aftermarket radios
But mine is working fabulous, I don't have to upgrade speaker's, I just tune them.but I did upgrade my tweeters

i worked with them to resolve alot of issues now they are great machines in your car

this is the order

Okay I see it now thank you for the help. I went on ahead and updated all my door speakers today tomorrow I will tackle the dash, and rear dash speakers. You wouldn't happen to know how many watts that amp is rated for?

you have to see it in the car before you judge. Anything is better than the original unit , i bought the the first unit for $500 whitch was garbage ,this unit works and im happy with it ,i would PAY that money again not to have headaches like the others do...if your looking for home tv THIS IS NOT IT ! when i serviced my car with LEXUS 3 mechanics came to me asking about the unit, its impressive in every way
if you have the resolution to high it will lag ,black out and run like **** 1280x768 is perfect
