Default How do you deal with wipers that don’t cover the whole windshield

I’ve tried all different kinds of wipers (except factory since I don’t have the parts I need for this) and always get stuck with smears in the same areas. How do you deal with missed coverage on your windshield from garbage wipers?

I purchased oem wiper blades, every year or two I replace the wiper blade inserts. If your getting streaks with brand new wipers then probably those wipers you purchased were designed for our car. Oem you have 1 large wiper and 1 smaller wiper blade.

Ebay you can find oem complete blades for $50-60 bucks for both the blades are less then $20 for the pair.

For whatever reason I was under the assumption that it was way more expensive/tougher to get ahold of the OEM blade setup.

Am I looking for something like this: New Set OEM Front Windshield Wiper Blades For 2007-2011 Lexus GS350 GS460 GS450h

Those wipers look counterfeit

This is what the oem should look like https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-OEM-F...QAAOSwirZTxq3b

Good catch. Thank you! Is that the full assembly that I will need? Or any additional parts?

I suggest also applying a coat of RainX to the windshield. It will help the water run off.

I wanted to follow up on this. I purchased the assembly and installed them about 2 weeks ago and have been loving them. The secret that I haven't seen/heard anyone explain is that the OEM are jointed assembly arms instead of one long arm it's 3 pieces with joints that allow it to contour perfectly to the windshield. Thank you again for the recommendation!

Im glad it worked out for you, I was dealing with the same issue previous owner threw in some cheap wiper blades. After swapping to oem the clarity is so much nicer. The nice thing with the oem stuff is all you need is the refill strips to put new blades on when they go bad, so its about the same if not cheaper than aftermarket wiper blades.
