Should I replace the timing belt when doing water pump?
For all my other vehicles, it was recommended I change the timing belt when replacing water pump or vice versa. But since our timing belt is made of chain and I've watched youtube videos and forums on here where they replaced the water pump, serp belt, thermostat and tension pulley but they didn't bother with the timing belt, should I bother? The vehicle is fine. My 2011 GS350 has 90K miles RWD

No those chains are very reliable and do not need to be replaced. Also the tensioner pulley is pretty expensive, I would just replace the idler pulley. You can find good deals on water pumps and thermostat at rockauto.com. For water pump aisin is basically aftermarket oem, denso for the idler pulley, bondo for the serp belt, gates for idler pulley. Are the Idler pulley and tension pulley the same for this vehicle? I keep on typing Idler pulley on Amazon and it shows me the recommended tension pulley and when I type GATES 36173 Idler Pulley on ebay, it shows me the same picture as the tension pulley I ordered on Amazon. Thanks
