Default Sport mode on 2008 GS460?? What does this button do?

I have never put my 2008 GS460 in "Sport" mode, how does this affect the ride? I have heard it accelerates faster but I thought it had to do with the suspension??

Would like to try it out, just wondered what to expect??

Thanks!

You're right, the sport mode function just stiffens the suspension, therefore, the ride as well. But because of that, it makes it handle noticeably better.

Stiffens up the suspension and holds your gears in a higher RPM, which avoids downshifting the second you accelerate.

Ah, sorry, you're right. It's two separate switches. I mixed it up with my wife's car, which it's all done with one. Sport mode just does the dampening and a couple other things within the suspension. You'll notice a significant improvement in body roll when taking corners.
