I installed some LEDs for my DRL/Highbeams and they flicker when in DRL mode. I've tried several different brands of 9005 LEDs and even used one of those anti flicker load resisters. All the load resistor did was set my DRLs on high all the time so it didn't fix my issue at all. Any one knows of a brand of light or some other solution that will fix this?

You can have the non flicker LED DRL but you will lose the high beam function. If you rarely use your high beams I’d say it’s a good trade off. LED DRL look fantastic on my GS.

I agree anything electrical later down the road can give you issues, especially running cheaper china parts. Things like battery drain, check engine lights etc may happen from the accesories. oem is best, but if you do have to have if, maybe a good idea is to get ahold of a reputable led shop/specialist who may have a specific kit for the GS, or can help you sort a kit.

I'm also a fan of and will always defend OEM, but when it comes to a bulb, which looks absolutely terrible, we can allow ourselves to take a little freedom. I have myself thought of replacing them with LEDs but especially bulbs from VLED, which look like the best LED bulbs in the automotive business. The only thing is they are expensive, and I have other expensive work to do on the car (among which the headlights which cost a house), and this is just a look affair so it is postponed. But I advise you to consider them. In addition to the good looks, they are available with all kind of error cancellation devices to fit the most cars possible.
