Default Alarm will not stop. Had to disconnect battery . Supposed to sell the car tomorrow!!!

Hi, 2006 gs300. Was in it today, unlocked with fob, started the car normal with push start. made note of the miles (for the buyer) . turned the car off, got out, locked with fob. Four hours later I hear the alarm going off , go out , try the unlock buttons on both fobs that I have and they won’t work. Opened the door with the little key and tried to start the car , of course it won’t start and the alarm is blaring. This went on for an hour, I tried the Idea of turning the key lock/ unlock in door, tried all the buttons on the fob. Finally just disconnected the battery to make it stop for the night. I’m supposed to sell the car tomorrow Lol ugh !! Never have had any problems like this. Please help!! I’ve been reading forums for an hour and i plan to remove/replace both fob’s batteries tomorrow Before reconnecting the battery. I also saw one that said to put the car in ACC for fifteen minutes? And another said turn the key to the unlock position in the drivers door for thirty seconds. Any other ideas would help so much!! It’s really windy today so I thought maybe A piece of debris hit it or the interior Motion sensors? Or a fob issue. Maybe this is worth noting- because I’m preparing to sell the car I pulled both fobs and put them together on the same ring so I had them both in the car with me each time for the last few days . One of them is missing the little Physical key thing. Ok that’s all the info I have. Thanks in advance for any guidance!!!

I think your car is telling you not to sell me

I would start by removing the battery from the key fob, and replacing it and cleaning the inside contacts with alcohol and a q-tip. Its possible maybe that other remote had something to do with it. Maybe remove the battery from the spare remote, and replace the battery on the good known key fob. Goodluck with the sale

haha I need to sell I got an 09 Infiniti g37x. So this morning we put the car on charge and connected everything and - no alarm and the car starts ! It now has a low tire light so I’m gonna try to deal with that. I have some of the fob batteries somewhere around here so I am going to change both of them today . Hopefully it’s all good!!! Thanks for the fast reply

Have you recently changed the keyfob battery? If so, the plastic standoff in these keys can easily be bent or snapped off causing these phantom button press.

No I haven’t changed the key but I did dig out the second fob from junk drawer and attach it to the other one so I’m thinking that second one is the culprit.

If the main battery is not holding a charge then thats more likely your alarm issue is from that. You can purchase a used reconditioned battery for pretty cheap and slap it in before selling the car. If you have an "Interstate Battery" near you call them and as if they sell reconditioned batteries. If they do great drive there, they will swap out a battery for a used/reconditioned one and charge anywhere from 25-$35 bucks
