Default SRS system not working

I am looking at a GS for sale and this is the most recent service history of of the lexus owners website:

SERVICE:
DESCRIPTION: SEE STORY--NEEDS THE PASS SIDE SEAT CUSHION THAT COMES W/ THE ECU $2358.97 + TAX--CUST DECINED ~|~DURING VEHICLE INSPECTION, TECHNICIAN FOUND THE SRS LIGHT IS ON--PLS CALIBRATE ~|~ ~|~120086 100 SRS(AIRBAG) LIGHT ON. B1797 OCCUPANT DETECTION CALIBRATION UNDONE. OCCUPANT DETECTION CALIBRATION CANNOT BE DONE. NEEDS SEAT CUSHION AND ECU. CUST DECL REPAIR.***CUST IS AWARE WITH AIRBAG LIGHT BEING ON THAT IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT AIRBAGS MAY NSEE STORY--NEEDS THE PASS SIDE SEAT CUSHION THAT COMES W/ THE ECU $2358.97 + TAX--CUST DECINED

The dealership *says* that the car has no lights on which could mean that it was resolved but I'm wary about that for obvious reasons
Does anybody have an insight into this?

They would be able to tell you if it was repaired or not. Don't buy without confirming it.

B1797 I looked up that part number, and it show that the occupant detection computer not calibrated. Thats probably what they were referring to when they said ecu and pass seat cushion. Maybe this car was involved in a rear accident, or someone used a snapon scan tool and that I heard can destroy them. What you can do is maybe unplug it and replug the module maybe someone spilled liquids on it. By removing the plug the pins if they are corroded can tell you. Worst case you can buy one off a junk yard or ebay for less then $100 and take it to a mechanic to have him calibrate it or maybe you can do it yourself with a techstream software thats sold on ebay for $20.

I wouldnt see this is a deal breaker if you are buying this car, as the issue sounds like something very minor. The dealership will always drive up the prices. If you can get the part number off the module it self, im seeing used prices range from $25-125.00. Once you get the part number you can just search for that on ebay.
