Default Car won’t shift into gear, 2006 Lexus GS 300 AWD

Bought a 06 GS 300 Awd and i’ve been driving it since February. No issues until yesterday morning after a big snow storm been 25 or less last 3 days, only let it sit out about 12 hours in this storm, I got the car out the snow with ECT snow On. and I noticed my tires weren’t good took a while to get out but anyways after i changed my front passenger tires, driving on highway was different car won’t pick up speed but rpm jumping, when I finally get off the highway i noticed on low speed car doesn’t pick up power and finally it just slowed down to a spot even when on drive, I tried reverse it moved back a little then stopped. Turned it off and on and put on drive, move like 2 feet slowly then stopped. Won’t drive anymore. Only been 1 day but it’s shocking not shifting into gear? is my Transmission Dead? Can the Fluid Freeze up? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME

To me it sounds like the tire you replaced the front passenger, must have been an incorrect tire size. AWD all 4 tires need to match tire heights, within about 10% more or less tolerance. if you put a larger or smaller tire it will trip an AWD error and maybe it put the car in safe mode so you dont destroy the transmission. I would check the tire size of that tire you mounted, if it is the wrong size then I would purchase all 4 new tires. Or 4 used tires that are all matching, maybe have a dedicated snow tire set.

It is common on 2006 GS300 to have ecu issues, that cause faulty transmission shifting. Many will remove and send off for repairs to "sia electronics" they charge $115 to repair your ecu. Also another issue are shifting solenoids, its probably best to take the car to a knowledgeable transmission shop to get a diagnosis. Or take it to the dealer! A good transmission shop can scan and test the solenoids to make sure they are functioning properly.

I would also check for obvious things, maybe as you were trying to remove it from the snow. Something clipped or ripped out a wire from underneath the car. Raising the car on a lift and visually inspecting things would be a start

My guess is while getting it out of the snow with a flat tire something damaged the transmission pan, radiator or line causing a leak. You might have leaked out your transmission fluid. It definitely sounds like lack of fluid to me. Once the fluid level got low enough the clutches can't stay engaged. Hopefully it's something simple.

Default Leak

I think so because took me. while getting it out the snow had to press on gas hard. and notice after i got it out it was slow. now it starts and won’t get into gear at all, probaby all the fluid drained out.
