Default Catalytic converter won’t come off

Removed all bolts on the passenger side front cat and I can’t remove the cat/manifold. The front cat exhaust pipe gets stuck against the rear cats exhaust pipe and it won’t come out. Any suggestions? Am I supposed to remove the rear cat too?

Yup, remove the whole mid pipe assembly. Lots of fun!

Wouldnt it be easier to loosen up the tops of the front mounts and put a jack under the engine to give it a slight lift, just enough to pull them out?

So underneath the passenger cat the rear exhaust cat/pipe is blocking the manifold from coming off. Theres another obstacle blocking it which is related to the suspension but it seems like way too much of a problem to take off. I’m going to try to remove the rear pipes today.

Finished the job. Removed the Y pipe as well as the bolts from the drivers side catalytic converter in order to squeeze the passenger side catalytic converter out from the bottom.
