Not happy with the headlight output
Not happy with the headlight output , is there anything i can do to imporove my stock gs350 headlights ? my acura tsx has better light output and i was wondering if i can d something to match it

I upgraded the bulbs. Don't go cheap on them either.
Osram Nightbreaker Laser yields some impressive output but it will be the stock-ish color. The 3rd gen headlights are one of the crappiest headlights (ask far as light output) to come from Lexus. If you want that crisp beam and color, I'm afraid there is not much you can do. The GS has side-mounted HIDs mounts.

3gs headlights are pretty strong, maybe your lenses are cloudy? If your headlight lens do not look like clear glass then thats an issue that can improve your headlights greatly. Buffing them is a temporary option, taking them to a body shop and having them sanded and putting a clear coat is best, and doesnt cost much.

I don't know if it's because my headlights are brand new but the light output totally satisfies me. The first key thing to know is are your headlights fogged up, which they likely are because every 3GS I see has fogged up lenses. The factory plexiglass is really weak. And this will lower the light output.

Definitely not normal. Brightness and distance wise I'm only beaten by modern Lexus, Acura, Mazda or German cars with LED headlights. I do about as well as 2000s luxury cars with xenon headlights, a bit better than mainstream cars with xenon headlights like a Mazda 3 and miles better than any halogen car.
I use Osram CBIs, but I was a bit limited in terms of budget at the time. You should be very good with Osram Nightbreaker Laser or Philips XtremeVision bulbs. They are the best in the business, the latter's color being 4800K, so they may be better suited if you want a cooler white than stock.

I think I bought it from them along with the coupon code, I didn't pay more than $130 for a set. Just double check on the bulb size. I believe D4S is what we need.
You also want to make sure you get a genuine Osram bulb. The Osram website has a serial number checker.
Also, aim your headlights. After a while, mine dipped a lot.
