Guys,
recently my alarm would go off 50% of the time when approaching my car trying to reach out to the handle to unlock the door. I can stop it by touching the door handle or hitting the unlock button on the fob. I recently replaced fob battery due to low battery signal in dash. Both fobs seem to have the same symptoms...the other 50% of the time acts normally. Any idea?

I would make sure there is nothing jamming the contacts inside the remote. I had one client who came in saying her fob is too sensitive and keeps unlocking the doors at random. Popped open the fob and instantly saw the issue. The plastic stand off snapped and fell onto the unlock button in the remote, making it sensitive to very light pressure. Took the standoff out, put the fob back together and had her tested. No issues since.

it's definitely started after opening those fobs and replacing the weak battery I had another look and nothing seems to jamming those contacts. I am thinking now the new batteries have some issues....both of them? It seems odd
