Default Code: P0102 Help!

Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2010 Lexus GS 350 and upon scanning the car a Permanent P0102 code popped up. Most pages online say to replace the MAF sensor which I did. I bought a Denso MAF sensor from Amazon and installed it, but the code is still there and I also cleaned the throttle body as well. Their is no Check Engine light on which is strange. When driving the car the car maintains a really low RPM. For example, I’ll be driving around 50 MPH and the RPM will be under 1,500 which doesn’t feel right. When I floor it the car downshifts and takes off, but then it shifts to a higher gear fairly quickly which drops my RPM and then it shifts again dropping the RPMs even further down again. It just wants to stay under 2000 RPMs unless I’m doing 80 MPH which then it’s around 2,500

I have at times felt a few jerks in the transmission so I pray to god that’s not it. I also do not have the car in Eco Mode. I leave it in Power due to the constant low RPMs the car likes to keep me in. Like the vehicle needs to be at a higher RPM because it doesn’t feel right. My girlfriends car had an issue like this, but all it took was cleaned the MAF sensor, throttle body and recalibrating the throttle body and it fixed it in her car. The car just doesn’t feel right like if it’s running a 50% or so. I don’t know what to do and I’m getting desperate here. Please, I really need to fix this issue because I feel this might cost me a lot of money and I’m extremely low on cash. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I would have kept the original maf and just cleaned that out.

Have you had the spark plugs replaced? Bad plugs could cause transmission feel, if you plan on replacing the plugs make sure to purchase oem or denso FK20HBR11 they are expensive about $11 a plug. There are a lot of fake plugs out there so make sure to purchase from a reputable source. Those ebay or amazon plugs for that claim a whole set for $20, ya those are all fakes.
