Hello everone, I woke up to my back window all shattered and i am pretty sure nothing hit it . Did anyone had this happened to them in the past ? The weather was not hot yesturday around 71 . I spreyed my girlfriends car with water around 330 pm to wash off some bird poop , some water might off hit my car but not sure

maybe someone walked on your back window or sat on it, or maybe threw porcelain/spark plug tip at it. its difficult to break a window with the car parked. The thing about tempered car glass is that its made to shatter in many small pieces making it difficult to find the impact spot.

That is wild that entire window is shattered in tiny pieces.
Never seen or heard of car window shattering on it's own.
I'm still thinking there was some sort of impact.

If you outer part of the glass carefully you may be able to find the point of impact.

Not car related but we had a bird fly into a building window at work. That bird shatter the glass. Maybe the same case here.

Only thing I can think of is some stray bullet shot into the air came down and hit the window.
