Default Fuse Box Issues.

Hi! Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Battery died around 3 weeks ago and the car hasn't moved since then. While having a look around the fuse box I've lifted something out (circled in the picture) and dropped it down into the car.

I've been to the parts dealer and they are unsure of what it is and advised me to order a few different parts of the fuse box, all varying widely in price.

Does any one know what is missing and will it stop the car from starting once I have the new battery in? Any info or details would be fantastic

Many thanks
Mackle

Some details, like the year model, which of the 4 fuse blocks. What you pulled out, did you try searching for the part? Did it look like a giant fuse, because those terminals look like they accept a large fuse

Hi! It's the fuse box under the bonnet.
2009 Gs450h
it's a black fuse (I think) that is missing. Spent 3 hours looking and no luck. Disaster!
It did actually look like a giant fuse.. are these specific to Lexus?

Why not just look under the fuse box cover to see which fuse or relay was there?

I couldnt find a pic online of a gs450h engine fuse box, but I did spot one for sale on ebay. It kinda shows that its maybe just a black cover. I wouldnt worry about it, until you spot something wrong. Then you can jump online and special order a big fuse to slip in there.

So it's actually a noise filte

r. However the noise filters I've found online don't look like the fuse I dropped. Does anyone know if this will affect the car starting? Thanks again for your help!!

Just start the car! Dont worry nothing will go boom, it will either work or it will not. If it doesnt work find a fuse that will fit it, and see.
