Default Center console lid

Anyone been able to replace the leather on the center console lid ? I was able to buy a new leather replacement cover but cannot figure out how the lid comes apart to replace it.? I'm taking it to an auto upholstery shop and they cannot figure out how it comes apart either..

Fixed.. the upholstery shop was able to solve my problem. They contacted several other shops that they knew about it and found one person who had dealt with this before. Apparently.. The leather on the console lid is supposed to be a non replaceable part. There are two plastic parts to it, but, there are no screws holding it together. On the assembly line at the factory it's snaps together in place for GOOD . They had to carefully break it apart.
breaking where it snaped together.. replace the cover.. and then glue it back together using a strong two-part epoxy.. similar to JB Weld.. I assume. It looks great.. I have the old cracked cover laying on the floor next to it

Has anyone else done this? There must be a way to remove the plastic without breaking it.
