Gs350 transmission swap issue please help
I have a 2007 Camry se that is my daughters. It has the 3.5 v6 and compatible (same engine and trans) as the gs350 for the years.
I have recently saw all the issues w the transmission. However it’s a nice car for her yet so I decided to purchase a used transmission and engine off a guy out of a gs350 from KC. Was told it had been rear ended and totaled out.
I swapped the transmissions and torque converter but kept my engine knowing it is sound. I swapped the brain on the transmission to the one off the Camry transmission because Toyota said it was programmed to the car. However I can’t seem to get the new one to pick up the new ws fluid and pump any. I was told 5-7 quarts so after changing filter I put in 6. I’m hoping it’s something simple or possibly the dealer is wrong about the control. Can anyone here point me in the right direction. Even if it’s just ur screwed and the new one is bad also. It would still save me time and headaches.
Thanks to all.

Its not the same engine, your engine is a 2GRFE the GS350 uses code 2GRFSE
Also the transmission is not the same as a GS350, but the transmission is the same on a ES350. Make sure what you purchased is for a ES and not a GS.
A good guide to see what works on your car is to look up parts on www.car-parts.com it will cross reference the vehicle parts that will work with what you are looking for.

Thank you. My bad it was an es350 although I am now questioning myself. However I looked everywhere and researched a lot. Hoping I didn’t get wrong one. I reached out to the man I got it from to confirm. I’m an hour from the shop or I would have a pic to confirm.

Everything bolted up nicely, plugged in nicely and seems to be working (from only looking in the fill plug) but can’t get fluid to pump. I disconnected the return off the trans cooker and have nothing.
