Default My 2007 GS 350 crank but will not start.!!

Hey Lexus family I’m have problem with my 2007 Gs350. My car cranks but it will not start. I got it tow to the lexus dealership. And they couldn’t get it to start either. Then I get a call from the dealership “ Saying now it’s not doing anything when you push the Start/Stop button. All the lights come on all the doors lock n unlock. Even the push start light up once push and apply the brakes it turn Green but nothing happen when you push the button again to start it. So I did a bypass to the starter to see if it’s bad and it’s just crank but still won’t turn over. I’m lost for words I don’t know what to do at this point. I can hear the fuel pump working But still no start. Please help me out on this

Sounds like your fuel pressure sensors is bad, and grounding out the ecu. Sometimes if you disconnect it, and reconnect the plug on the sensor it will fire up the car.

Did the radiator fans kick on while trying to start it?

No. The fan don’t kick on when you try to start it. And I unplug it and plug it up still getting nothing.

You need to have a shop diagnose it properly, your lexus dealer incompetent. Look around for a toyota/lexus specialist its not difficult and pay for 1 hours worth of diagnostics.

I still think it could be the fuel pressure sensor shorting out the ecu.

Yeah I have a import shop that told me to give him two weeks to make room he will take my car. Because Lexus and Toyota can’t seem to help since the ECU isn’t reading. But I have already order the part. So I’ll take it to get change out and see if that help. Because I’m with you I think it’s the fuel pressure sensor too. But I’ll keep you update once I get everything install. Thanks

That sensor is probably shorting out the ecu, which is why it isnt able to communicate. Did you buy an oem sensor? I would avoid china/ebay sensors at all cost.

OEM or Denso, its hit or miss with amazon and china. You might get a sensor packaged in a toyota bag, but it turns out to be a knock off sensor.
